On June 22, 2010, Sakka Foundation members were presented with a HUGE amount of gifts from the students and administration of Discovery Bay College - Max, Natalie, Colby, Olivia and Sarah (all primary school students aged 9 - 10 years) used their year end school project to do something to help other kids ! Their Learn 4 Hope project included collecting TONS of school supplies, writing letters and creating individually named gift packets to the students of Who Will Children's Community in Cambodia. Their teacher, Maria Chaytor, helped to organize and coordinate their efforts along with Elisa Colburn, another teacher at the school. . The gifts were presented at an assembly with the ENTIRE primary school. Sakka Foundation members will bring their gifts and presents to Who Will during their next visit in early September. Thank you so so much to Maria , Elisa, Max, Natalie, Colby, Olivia and Sarah for their amazing donation...and for doing something that will really make a difference.
