Dear friends of Sakka Foundation - thanks for checking out our blog!! Things are going so great here, we are looking forward to 2010 and doing MORE to help kids that are really in need. WE COULD USE YOUR HELP! IF you are interested in helping us, let's talk. We would love to see if someone can organize a school classroom to do a fundraiser (perhaps to raise money for uniforms for the kids, or for books, etc). We would love to see if any of you have connections with a corporation or an upcoming event - we'd love to be the charitable partner to the event! Please check out the latest newsletter! all the best, Sakka's team ![]()

The menu looks amazing....on Christmas evening they will be offering a set menu including such delicacies as "Seafood Ravioli with lobster sauce, pomegrate sorbet, roast lamb loin wrapped with pancetta and pink pepper corn sauce, nougat parfait with coffee creme sauce...." Our best to John, Maxine, Henry and team! La Baita 248 Queen's Road East Wan Chai tel: 2572 8872 / 2572 8873 One Teeshirt (HKD 160) will give 20 children enough rice for one week.
One Wristband (HKD 40) will give 2 children enough food to eat plus shelter and basic necessities for 1 day. Email us at sakkafoundation@yahoo.com and we're happy to help you to send the gift to your favorite friend or to yourself! (fyi we'll ask if you'll kindly help out with the shipping cost) We have great news....the drawings for the school that you all helped to raise funds to support are in! Please see attached below. Even more exciting, our kind friends at Cam Kids (non-profit based in the UK) have partnered along with Sakka Foundation in order to improve and expand the original plans for the school. Therefore the over 50 kids at Who Will now will have a real brick/mortar school + also toilet facilities on their property. We can't be more pleased about this development as with the incredible generosity of yourselves + also the donors from Cam Kids we are making an EVEN BIGGER difference in these kids lives. Thanks to everyone for the support! ![]()
