Global property company and Sakka Foundation supporter, Cushman & Wakefield, wanted to donate used computers to set up a computer lab at the newly opened Impact School in Phnom Penh. Located on the north side of Phnom Penh, in one of the poorest areas of the city, the Impact School was set up to offer classes to students who live in the community and do not have access to other schools.
Sakka Foundation had arranged for the computers to be transported to Cambodia with a local airline, however needed packing and logistical assistance in Singapore. Our KC Dat team were very happy to step in and help. We crated the computers ready for freight and delivered them to Changi Airport for transport.
The computer lab is now up and running, and hosts multiple computer classes daily at the school. Thanks to our collective efforts, we have made a small step in helping to give impoverished children the chance of a better future.
